About The Position

This role involves the design, build, and testing of electrical harnesses, primarily for automotive or aerospace applications. The technician will be responsible for hands-on assembly, component procurement, and ensuring the quality and functionality of the harnesses through various testing methods. The position requires the ability to work autonomously onsite and interpret technical documentation.

Requirements

2+ years of automotive or aerospace harness assembly design/build or related experience.
Experience operating hand and power tools.
Experience building harness cables.
Experience with crimping/stripping wires and terminals.
Experience with soldering.
Experience using fault-testing equipment.
Hands-on experience and willingness to build rapid-prototype harnesses, including procurement of components.
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and device transmittals.
Ability to work onsite autonomously.
Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
Able to lift 45 lbs.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Electromechanical fixture assembly.
Wire Harness Builds.
Wiring Equipment.

Nice To Haves

Experience packaging harnesses considering communication protocol circuits such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, video, and lighting signals.
Able to read electrical schematics.
Electrical Troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Design and build of automotive or aerospace harness assemblies.
