The 3rd Shift Electrical Auto Tech is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical and automation systems within the facility. This role involves performing safety checks, prioritizing and executing repair work, conducting preventative maintenance, and providing technical support for various data systems, software, hardware, and communication equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and maintain electrical control systems, install and repair electrical equipment, and work with blueprints and schematics. Collaboration with Maintenance Mechanics and other trades is expected, along with maintaining a clean and safe work area. The position also includes end-of-shift duties such as securing equipment, completing paperwork, and general housekeeping. The role requires adherence to the company's operating model and core values, focusing on ownership, integrity, continuous improvement, and teamwork. Measurable outcomes include developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, quickly resolving electrical and automation issues, collaborating on system upgrades, and providing training to other personnel.
