About The Position

This role involves the assembly and installation of electrical components. The technician will be responsible for reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing work instructions. Key tasks include installing conduit, routing and terminating control and power wires, and mounting various electrical devices. The position requires the physical ability to handle large cables, including cutting, crimping, routing, and terminating them according to procedures. Attention to detail is crucial for neat and compliant wiring.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics / wiring diagrams, drawings, and manufacturing work instructions.
• Ability to perform wiring routing and termination neatly and in accordance with workmanship standards.
• Ability to operate machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes.
• Use of general electrical hand tools including crimpers, wire strippers, conduit benders, etc.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Construction background.
• Reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and manufacturing work instructions.
• Perform EMT & Liquidtite conduit installations.
• Route control and power wires.
• Terminate wiring in accordance with wire diagrams.
• Install large cables, including cutting, crimping, routing, and terminating them according to procedures.
• Mount electrical devices such as distribution panels, charging equipment, lights, and GFCI.
• Perform wiring routing and termination neatly and in accordance with workmanship standards.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes.
