About The Position

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and components according to engineering drawings and production schedules. This role supports the efficient and accurate completion of electrical builds for hoist systems and other industrial equipment.

Requirements

Experience as electrical assembler or panel building.
General electrical hand tools (wrenches, socket set, screw drivers, small hammer, allen wrenches).
Ability to read and translate electrical schematics.
Working knowledge and skills with drills, taps, hole punches, jig saw, hole saw, conduit benders, pipe threading.
Working knowledge of electrical components and electrical circuitry.
Willingness to work 5 X 8hr days per week.
Ability to stand for extended amounts of time and work in an industrial environment.
Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted routinely.
Previously certified forklift operator or willingness to be certified.
Working knowledge of working around/near high voltage systems (ie: 220/480V).
Working knowledge of both AC and DC circuits.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill-of-materials.
Assemble electrical components such as junction boxes, terminals, push buttons, and control panels.
Perform wiring operations including cutting, stripping, crimping, and mounting wires to connect electrical units.
Conduct point-to-point testing and verify functionality of assembled systems.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
Maintain compliance with safety procedures and ESD handling protocols.
Document work progress and report any discrepancies or delays to the supervisor.
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and Lean practices.
