About The Position

Vacuum Instruments Corporation LLC, located in Ronkonkoma NY, is a designer and manufacturer of Leak Detection Equipment. This entry-level position is available to provide assistance with the utilization of electrical/electronic testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent trade school
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions in English
• Skills: Basic computer skills, and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools
• Must be able and willing to work overtime and weekends when required
• Must have mechanical aptitude and good understanding of electrical principles
• Ability to effectively communicate and work well with other team members

Nice To Haves

• Read and understand electrical schematics a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools
• Layout and mount electrical components on panel
• Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring
• Accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions
• Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment such as multi-meters, ammeters, to troubleshoot and repair equipment
