About The Position

Minit Charger builds EV charging equipment in Chandler, Arizona, and is hiring an Electrical Assembler to build its products from start to finish. The role involves working from drawings and work instructions, wiring and testing assemblies, and preparing finished units for shipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on electronic or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience routing, terminating, and testing cables and wire harnesses.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Working knowledge of basic DC electrical systems, polarity checks, and electrical safety.
• Comfort using electrical test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable work history with professional references.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn new processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building electronic control systems, battery charging equipment, or similar products.
• Strong soldering skills.
• Control panel or box build experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical products to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Build wiring harnesses and wire control panels.
• Route, terminate, and test cables and harnesses.
• Test assemblies using multimeters, power supplies, continuity testers, and other test equipment.
• Inspect work and flag workmanship defects or non-conforming materials.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
• Prepare finished goods for shipment, including palletizing and crating.
• Support shipping and receiving as needed.
