About The Position

This position involves assembling and wiring electrical boxes for marine and Navy applications. The company specializes in building these electrical boxes, which include high-voltage (480V) and low-voltage (24V) systems, control panels, PLCs, circuits, and wiring for power systems on ships. The work focuses on 2-4 foot boxes and is distinct from traditional power line work.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical assembly, wiring control panels, and reading prints.
• Familiarity with PLCs, circuits, and voltage systems (480V to 24V).
• Not requiring traditional electrician background (e.g., power lines); focus on panel/box wiring.
• Open to various experience levels; attitude and trainability key.
• Strong attitude emphasized; must be reliable and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical boxes with high/low voltage components.
• Land wires in control panels, following electrical prints (e.g., pin 23-25, positive/negative/neutral).
• Work with wire gauges from 4 gauge (thickest) to 12 gauge.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics for PLCs and circuits.
• Contribute to systems for filtration pumps, skids, and ship power systems.
