About The Position
AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Plattsburgh, New York, a global leader in the transportation sector, specializing in sustainable mobility solutions, including rolling stock (trains, trams, metros), signaling systems, and related services. This role requires a willingness to travel and temporarily relocate to Plattsburgh, New York.
Requirements
- More than 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, specifically with electronics, electrical, or mechanical devices.
- A strong focus on manufacturing effectiveness and quality standards.
- Collaborative and transparent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Torquing – Required for all operators.
- Electrical Crimping – Required for operators performing electrical crimping operations.
Responsibilities
- Setting up production equipment, including robots, machines, workstations, and inspection tools.
- Cleaning and maintaining working areas and production equipment to uphold a safe and efficient workspace.
- Performing manufacturing, production, and testing tasks as planned by the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
- Monitoring the production process, conducting basic testing, and performing quality checks to ensure adherence to standards.
- Alerting the Team Leader to any process drifts or quality issues that arise.
