About The Position

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Assembler who brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to the table. In this role, you will assist layout and constructing various product assemblies with minimal supervision according to blueprints or specifications, using a variety of portable or hand tools, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of mechanical assembly experience in a production environment
  • Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and assembly drawings
  • Strong manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately
  • Required vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and read, write, and speak English clearly
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing root cause analysis and assisting with problem-solving
  • Ability to assist engineering with process improvements and corrective actions
  • Experience developing proper assembly methods and optimizing workflow layouts
  • Ability to assist in the design or recommend process and equipment improvements
  • Proven ability to optimize equipment and materials for efficiency and timeliness
  • Background in electrical field(s) and understanding of basic electrical concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a production team to assemble forklifts.
  • Perform close-tolerance hand work and diagnose improper electrical assembly or operation
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, instructions, diagrams, and engineering drawings
  • Assemble wire harnesses and smaller electrical components.
  • Inspect and test assembled harnesses and components for performance and compliance
  • Complete production and quality documentation
  • Use hand-held tools, such as battery-operated impact and drill guns
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established standards
