This position is for a motivated Electrical or Computer engineering candidate to be involved in the design, implementation, verification, and integration of a wide variety of high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs applied to signal processing and information assurance products across Mission Systems on the Product Enabling Technologies team. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • RTL coding and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, team with engineers of a variety of skills and backgrounds, and matrix into projects with aggressive schedules and frequent milestones
  • Experience using ASIC and/or FPGA design tools (e.g. Modelsim, Quartus, Vivado or other FPGA-specific tools)
  • Experience with debugging and root cause investigations on hardware using hardware schematics, integrated FPGA vendor debug tools, and digital lab equipment
  • Digital circuit architecture and resource tradeoffs
  • Some background in signal processing and/or information assurance
  • Familiarity with the signal processing system simulation & analysis tools (e.g. Matlab, Simulink)
  • Familiarity with revision control concepts and tools (e.g. Git, Subversion)

Responsibilities

  • Support requirements capture and ASIC / FPGA digital architecture
  • Implement ASIC / FPGA digital design using RTL
  • Support verification and system integration of ASIC / FPGA implementations
