3rd Shift Electrical Apprentice - $26.65/hour
About The Position
As an Electrical Apprentice, you’ll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You’ll get to assist Journeymen with the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment. You will complete preventative maintenance on, repairs to, and/or installation of equipment as directed. You will operate lift trucks, cranes, welders, and other equipment to perform maintenance duties. You will attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules. You will maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures. You will recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You will perform maintenance tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership. You always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successfully pass the apprenticeship entry exam.
- Knowledge of OSHA, the National Electric Code, and the Fire Code.
- Must have a valid lift truck operators license or successfully complete lift truck training.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions both inside and outside.
- Able to rotate to different shifts and work overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous relevant electrical experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic
