About The Position

Envocore, LLC is an established national leader engaged in the engineering, design, and installation of energy-efficient systems. We deliver projects for Government, Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Institutional, and Retail facilities throughout the United States. We are seeking Electrical Apprentices to support a commercial solar project in the Greer, SC area. Candidates must be actively enrolled in a federally approved electrical apprenticeship program and eager to develop their skills while working alongside experienced electrical professionals.

Requirements

Active enrollment in a federally approved electrical apprenticeship program
General electrical knowledge
Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Basic tablet and computer skills
Ability to distinguish colors used in electrical wiring
Strong work ethic and reliability

Nice To Haves

Solar installation experience
Commercial construction experience
Experience working with conduit and electrical wiring
Experience operating lifts and power tools
Familiarity with NEC standards and electrical safety procedures

Responsibilities

Assist with installing conduit ranging from 1" to 4"
Assist with AC and DC wiring installation
Support solar panel and racking system installations
Perform minor electrical tasks under supervision
Assist with installation, retrofitting, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Operate portable drills, table saws, aerial lifts, and other equipment as required
Assist with demolition of old fixtures and installation of new fixtures
Support installation of emergency lighting, occupancy sensors, battery backup systems, and related components
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Stage materials and equipment for installation crews
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
