Requirements
- Strong interest in learning the electrical trade.
- Ability to use hand and power tools under supervision.
- Basic computer skills, including email.
- Willingness to learn to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to build a long-term career.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Enrollment in, or willingness to enroll in, an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Employment and education verification.
- Authorized to work full-time in the United States.
- Post-offer pre-employment drug testing required.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems (wiring, conduit, panels, fixtures, outlets, switches).
- Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and wiring per specifications.
- Pull wire through conduit and structures.
- Assist with installing and connecting electrical devices, breakers, and panels under direct supervision.
- Learn to test circuits and components using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Observe and assist with troubleshooting basic electrical issues alongside a journeyman or master electrician.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and stocked with needed materials.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Accurately document work performed.
- Learn and apply industry best practices and new technologies.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
