About The Position

Hammond Services is growing and looking for qualified Electrical apprentices to join their team. They are a family-owned and operated business serving the South Metro Atlanta area since 1979, and are a well-established and respected Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical company. This is an entry-level position, but candidates should have experience working with hand tools and good mechanical abilities.

Requirements

• Previous Electrical or industry-related experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in all types of weather
• Mechanical abilities and experience using hand tools.
• Have a valid driver’s license and meet auto insurance requirements (minimum age to drive 22 years old).
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Effectively manage volume and day-to-day tasks; be able to work flexible schedules including overtime, as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Assist with the performance of skilled electrical tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair work along with an Electrician.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
