About The Position

ITAC is actively recruiting Electrical Apprentices at all levels, with a strong focus on first-year candidates ready to get started immediately. This is an opportunity for a long-term career where you will learn from experienced professionals while earning a paycheck. ITAC is covering the cost of the apprenticeship program, but space is limited. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will gain practical, on-the-job experience while developing the skills needed to grow in the trade. This is a hands-on, field-based role where reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic matter.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Interest in starting or continuing an electrical apprenticeship
• Willingness to learn, show up, and put in the work
• Ability to perform physical job duties (lifting, climbing, working on your feet)
• Basic math/mechanical aptitude and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and wiring
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
• Support power, lighting, and data system installations
• Work safely using proper tools, equipment, and PPE at all times
