About The Position
Support safe, on-time, on-budget installation of electrical systems by performing basic tasks under direct supervision while learning GTI methods, documentation practices, and safety standards. Execute task-level work as assigned by a Journeyman or Foreman. Make routine choices within given instructions and checklists; escalate conflicts, hazards, or drawing ambiguities to the lead.
Requirements
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction required.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs., work at heights, and in varied conditions.
- Familiarity with document control basics (versioning, naming, access).
- Reliability, teamwork, and follow-through.
- Attention to detail in measurements, labeling, and count accuracy.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and follow safe work practices.
Nice To Haves
- MSHA preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Strong customer service, organization, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Stage materials, manage housekeeping, and assist with pulling wire, fastening supports, and device/set box prep.
- Use basic hand/power tools and multimeters safely; inspect PPE/tools before use and report issues.
- Follow plans, redlines, and labels; support as-built notes, photos, and punch-list closeout tasks.
- Participate in daily huddles and JSAs; follow lockout/tagout direction from the lead.
- Help with documentation handoffs (RFIs, submittals, pictures) using Procore as directed.
