About The Position

This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under supervision. The apprentice will learn and apply electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements while supporting site preparation and handling tools and materials. A key aspect of this position is participating in and completing apprenticeship training requirements and reporting safety concerns to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of related experience or entry-level exposure to electrical work
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Enrollment in or eligibility for an electrical apprenticeship program
• Apprentice Electrician certification or registration required
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
• Strong willingness to learn and develop trade skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
• Good work ethic and reliability
• Safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of electrical systems and materials under supervision
• Support site preparation and handle tools and materials as required
• Learn and apply electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow direction from journeypersons and forepersons to complete assigned tasks
• Participate in and complete apprenticeship training requirements
• Report safety concerns and support safe work practices on site
