About The Position

Eaton’s PCS division (Protection, Control & Solutions), a leader in electrical power distribution products and solutions, is currently seeking a Product Specialist - Electrical Applications based onsite at our Calgary, AB facility. This dynamic position involves managing pricing strategies, leading negotiations, handling order entry and customer-specific engineering, and delivering top-tier customer service. You'll also oversee the quality and manufacturing of panel boards, switchboards, and enclosed controls - making a direct impact on our product excellence and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Post-secondary Degree/ Diploma from an accredited institution
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation is being offered for this position. Must be able to work onsite at Calgary facility

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution products (relevant co-op or internship experience will be considered)
  • Experience providing/ creating pricing details/ quotations for customers.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills that help you collaborate effectively and keep projects on track.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Deep understanding of electrical distribution and control systems.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence, using time management and project planning skills to deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring smooth application and integration of products.
  • Maintain pricing authority for field sales and distributors, balancing competitiveness with profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies that drive sales growth, enhance customer service, and optimize price realization.
  • Manage order administration, production planning, and scheduling, while ensuring inventory availability for efficient product assembly.
  • Deliver accurate and detailed engineering drawings to support product design and customization.
  • Prepare quotations, create AutoCAD drawings, and provide expert application support for Eaton’s product portfolio.
  • Execute all responsibilities in alignment with Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, Code of Ethics, and commitment to safety, environmental standards, and cost improvement.
