Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, the leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry, currently has an opening for an Electrical 1 at our Brier Hill, PA location. Key Performance Areas In this key role, the Electrician is responsible for disassembling, inspecting, ordering, repairing and reassembling electrical/electronic components from aftermarket equipment repairs. Electrical/electronic repair processes including wiring techniques, schematic understanding and appropriate critical thinking skills including trouble shooting components and basic circuits. The candidate must be capable to progress from this basic level to testing, operating and trouble-shooting parts and systems.

Requirements

Technical diploma or certification in an electrical discipline
Minimum of 3 years of related experience with industrial or commercial equipment.
Ability to work as part of an integrated team
Self-motivated
Effective customer relations
Active listening skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work overtime is required.

Responsibilities

Disassembling, inspecting, ordering, repairing and reassembling electrical/electronic components from aftermarket equipment repairs.
