The Wildfire Mitigation (WM) organization oversees PG&E’s wildfire risk strategy, associated mitigations and operations, establishing the strategies, tactics and best practices that support wildfire resilience across the communities we serve. In collaboration with Operations leadership and other business units, WM guides the company’s strategic direction for preventing fire incidents, developing and executing the comprehensive Wildfire Mitigation Plan, and strengthening trust with regulators, communities, and key agencies. To meet these goals, WM delivers operational mitigations such as Enhanced Powerline Safety Settings (EPSS) and Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS), performs advanced risk analytics and ignition investigations, fosters community and regulatory partnerships, and coordinates rapid ignition response activities. The organization’s Continuous Monitoring team evaluates, deploys and operationalizes technologies that provide data and insights for monitoring grid asset health. This enables PG&E to proactively identify developing problems on our electric system and take remedial action to reduce ignition risk and improve reliability. This position manages and administers a company program, a grouping of project work or a special customer offering with an annual financial budget. Provides oversight, governance, communication, training, reporting, and overall process and project management. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the Bay Area of the PG&E Service Territory.
