About The Position

At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. Through a human-centered design process, we create vehicles and experiences that are designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. We’re turning today’s impossible into tomorrow’s standard —from breakthrough hardware and battery systems to intuitive design, intelligent software, and next-generation safety and entertainment features. Every day, our products move millions of people as we aim to make driving safer, smarter, and more connected, shaping the future of transportation on a global scale. The Electric Drive Lab (EDL) is a lab team that supports development and environmental validation tests for primarily electrification propulsion electronics with recent opportunities in centralized computing modules. The team is responsible for the development and delivery of test equipment, software, and hands on execution of product development testing. The EDL is seeking a Lab Software Integration Engineer to lead lab-software operations to test and develop centralized computing modules and power electronics. A successful candidate will work in a team of 2-3 engineers to develop and maintain the lab's test software, equipment drivers, and other computing needs. This sub team aids the Test Engineering team to develop test scripts for new products to evaluate performance, quality, and resolve field issues. This role requires interacting with Test System Engineers, Computer Aided Test Systems, and IT teams to ensure lab software and computers can support execution of testing.
