About The Position

This role involves traveling to customer sites, both on and offshore, to diagnose and repair electric actuator and automated valve assemblies. The technician will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to all company and regulatory standards. This position also includes mentoring new employees and requires flexibility in working hours and locations.

Requirements

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work overtime including some weekends.
Some lifting, bending, and long-term standing required.
Use of basic hand and measurement tools.
Customer site requirements.

Nice To Haves

Ability to work on-call and off shift as required by customers or management.
Travel required up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites (on and offshore) with company-supplied equipment to discuss and resolve equipment operational problems.
Perform Pre-Work Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Assess equipment condition and problems, and perform appropriate repairs.
Communicate company deliverables to clients and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all internal and external communications and reporting.
Ensure overall safety of the work environment and compliance with company, client, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
Perform Behavioral Safety Observations as needed.
Maintain a clean, secure, and well-maintained work area.
Assist in training and mentoring new employees.
Convey knowledge obtained from training sessions.
Troubleshoot and repair control and automated valve assemblies.
Follow John H. Carter Co., Inc. policies, procedures, and methodologies.
Work collaboratively with development and support staff to maintain product knowledge and ensure precise communications.
Fulfill all company safety training requirements.
Complete CWX service-related documentation.
Exercise the stop work authority program.
