Perform highly skilled work in the calibration and repair of industrial electrical/instrumentation and control systems operated by Columbus Water Works. Perform preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance on all instrumentation, data collection, data transmission, motor controls, and power distribution systems. Perform calibrations on various types of instrumentation devices. Plan and execute electrical construction projects in accordance with the NEC(National Electrical Code) and all other applicable codes. Able to troubleshoot electronic systems, radio systems, SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, flow monitoring equipment, level sensors, pressure transmitters, PLC’s and other instrumentation commonly used in water and wastewater industry. Enter time, materials, and pertinent data into MAXIMO work reporting software as work orders are completed. Occasionally works in confined spaces, high precarious places, and outside weather conditions. Perform related duties as required.
