Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, crimpers, wire cutters, wire strippers, or other hand tools, as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
Nice To Haves
- Wiring experience will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conducts all types of assembly work to produce wire harnesses by cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating wires on harness boards based on engineering drawings and best practices.
- Performs regular quality control and testing as part of a defined production process manually using continuity testers or atomically using custom testing devices.
- Performs rework if needed.
- Performs work manually by using light hand tools.
- Operates semi-automatic wire processing machines.
- Sets up and uses a digital guided assembly station for wire harnesses.
- Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
