Requirements

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut
Prior experience in elderly care, home health, or a related caregiving setting preferred
Strong knowledge of senior care best practices and patient safety protocols
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Warm, empathetic, and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for elder care

Responsibilities

Assist elderly clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Monitor and record vital signs, health changes, and patient progress
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
Administer medications as directed and within scope of CNA certification
Communicate effectively with supervisors and care team regarding client needs
