About The Position
This is a .4 FTE position for an ELD/ELA Teacher at Eagan High School, effective for the beginning of the 2026-27 school year. The role involves creating and planning ELD curriculum and instruction for English Learners, teaching ELD standards aligned with Independent School District 196's curriculum, and collaborating with colleagues, specialists, and coaches to support classroom teachers and the needs of multilingual learners.
Requirements
- Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach ESL
- Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach high school english
- Strong general academic background
- Ability to relate positively to students, staff and community
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
- Commitment to equity and culturally responsive teaching
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
