About The Position

Think Academy is seeking an ELA Curriculum Research & Development Specialist for a part-time, remote position. This role involves participating in the design and development of lesson structures, instructional activities, and courseware for assigned units. The specialist will also be responsible for creating supporting materials, revising content based on feedback, and conducting final content reviews to ensure logical consistency and alignment with standards. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of frontline teaching experience in U.S. K–5 ELA OR 3+ years of experience in ELA curriculum product development, with a track record of independently designing or deeply participating in reading and writing curriculum development.
  • Familiar with Common Core ELA standards for reading and writing skills, as well as reading & writing classroom activity design.
  • Proficient in major U.S. reading and writing instructional frameworks (e.g., Reader's Workshop, Writer's Workshop).
  • Clear and rigorous instructional logic, strong learning ability.
  • Able to deliver curriculum products on time and with high quality.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in designing lesson structures and instructional activities for assigned units.
  • Finalize product design details and complete courseware production.
  • Create pre-class, during-class, and post-class teaching support materials.
  • Adjust courseware logic and details of supporting materials promptly according to feedback.
  • Conduct final content review to ensure logical consistency, accurate alignment with standards, and file finalization.
