About The Position
Excellence Community Schools (ECS) is seeking a consultant with an English degree to revise and create ELA assessments for grades 5-8 for the 2026-27 school year. ECS supports schools in the Bronx, NY, and Stamford, CT, using a nationally recognized model. Their mission is to prepare young scholars for success in top high schools through intellectual, artistic, social, emotional, and ethical development, offering a challenging curriculum with a focus on college preparation in a supportive environment with high expectations. They utilize a differentiated, project-based learning approach to foster analytical and critical-thinking skills, implemented by a collaborative teaching team.
Requirements
- English degree.
- Experience in creating high-quality assessments under a deadline.
- Must provide a sample of their work.

Benefits
