About The Position

The EKG Technician performs non-invasive cardiac testing for inpatients and outpatients of all ages, including electrocardiograms, Holter monitoring, stress tests, and cardiac monitoring, in accordance with established standards and policies. The role also processes studies and maintains neat, clean equipment. The position may require working at either campus.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Previous EKG technician experience.
• BCLS certification.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn ECG recording fundamentals, medical terminology, and other non-invasive cardiology testing.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good computer knowledge base.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms, Holter monitoring, stress tests, and cardiac monitoring for inpatients and outpatients of all ages, as required or directed and according to established standards and policies.
• Process studies.
• Keep equipment neat and clean.
• Work at either campus as the position may require.
