About The Position

This role involves executing precise cardiac testing by expertly placing electrodes and operating EKG equipment to capture high-quality readings essential for diagnosing heart conditions. The technician will empower patients through the testing process by reviewing their medical history and providing clear education, ensuring they are prepared and comfortable during the procedure. Additionally, the role requires monitoring patient well-being in real-time, acting as a critical observer who recognizes and reports abnormal cardiac findings immediately to the nursing and medical teams. The technician will also deliver accurate diagnostic data by identifying and correcting image interference and technical artifacts, ensuring the attending physician receives clear, reliable results for interpretation.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
