About The Position
Performs all diagnostic EKG procedures and holter applications. Performs all duties related to record transcription and record delivery to proper areas.
Requirements
- High School Graduate.
- CPR certified.
Nice To Haves
- One year’s experience in allied health profession preferred.
- Computer experience preferred.
Responsibilities

- Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety and medical information.
- Performs EKG’s in a timely and efficient manner.
- Demonstrates age specific competencies.
- Uses a magnet for pacemaker detection.
- Obtains necessary data and orders for patient testing.
- Maintains skills to recognize abnormalities in EKG tracings and reports critical abnormalities to physician.
- Applies holter monitor using proper skin preparation technique.
- Transcribes all interpretation of EKG’s and holters.
- Cleans all equipment utilizing proper infection control and safety measures routinely.
