About The Position

Christie Clinic's department of Laboratory is seeking a full-time EKG Technician/Phlebotomist at the Bloomington clinic on Empire from Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with no night or weekend requirements. Duties include the performance of phlebotomy and EKG testing and other related exams on patients according to established standards and practices.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent.
• Completion of phlebotomy and EKG course (Can be substituted by one year’s experience)
• CPR

Nice To Haves

• 1 year: EKG Technician/Phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, for all age groups
• Perform EKGs
• Perform Lab safety audits
• Inventory Management of general lab supplies
• Maintain lab records and files
• Perform related work as required.
• Train new personnel, if needed
• Potential for travel to other lab locations. Mileage will be reimbursed after employee submits to supervisor.
