About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Summer Intern to join the Mele Storage Group. This role provides direct exposure to live deals, underwriting, and marketing execution within a self-storage investment sales team. This is an in-person role, 5 days per week.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with data efficiently.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with mapping or design tools is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist brokers and team members in executing live transactions across underwriting, marketing, and due diligence.
Conduct market research, comp analysis, and data collection to support deal strategy.
Support underwriting by building and reviewing basic financial analyses and validating key assumptions.
Assist in preparing client reports and marketing materials with a high standard of accuracy.
Support deal tracking and coordination, including managing timelines and organizing materials.
Maintain databases with accurate and up-to-date property and pipeline information.
