Requirements

Experience with RCRA regulations and hazardous waste management practices
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain thorough documentation
Ability to work in both field and office environments, including outdoor conditions
HAZWOPER certification (40-hour) preferred or willingness to obtain
Excellent communication and organizational skills
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to operate a 24-foot box truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field a plus

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) regulations for hazardous waste management
Conduct routine inspections of satellite accumulation areas, central storage areas, labs, warehouses, hazardous waste storage areas and other waste handling areas.
Assist in the collection in preparation, labeling, and manifesting of waste shipments
Support environmental health, safety, and sustainability (EHSS) programs and initiatives
Maintain accurate records and documentation required for regulatory reporting
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper waste disposal procedures
Assist in spill response, emergency preparedness, and incident reporting activities
Participate in safety training, audits, and continuous improvement efforts
