The EHS Training & Development Coordinator reports directly to the EHS Innovation Manager at Samsung Semiconductor. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of EHS training content including review, record‑keeping, and compliance, while also creating and delivering instructional material as needed. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for Human Organizational Performance (HOP), ensuring that HOP principles are embedded throughout Samsung’s safety culture. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the company‑wide EHS training matrix, collaborating with department employees and site personnel to guarantee that all required compliance training is assigned and completed accurately. As the gatekeeper for all EHS content in the Samsung Learning Management System (Samsung U), you will evaluate courses for visual and procedural alignment with EHS guidelines, verify course assignments, and process any changes to those assignments. You will also own the EHS compliance training metrics for Tier 1, tracking completion rates by department and by course, and driving improvement initiatives to meet or exceed targets. The position may require periodic travel to support both the Austin and Taylor facilities, ensuring consistent training delivery and alignment across locations. Your expertise in EHS standards and HOP will be pivotal in fostering a safe, compliant, and high‑performing work environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or high school equivalent certificate.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Possess strong computer skills (Word, Excel, & Power point)
  • Understanding of Human Organizational Performance (HOP) principles and methodology.
  • Comfortable delivering training on a periodic basis.
  • Able to perform effectively with limited supervision across numerous internal and external departments, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Work with EHS program owners to ensure annual review and update of training content and materials.
  • Develop SAS ALL Quarterly EHS training content; as necessary
  • Scheduler/Trainer for instructor led EHS training content, as needed
  • Maintain EHS Quarterly training request log and manage associated budget. Work with EHS department for internal and external training scheduling.
  • Work with EHS department for internal subject matter expert development opportunities.
  • Develop new metrics for Training and HOP programs as appropriate
  • Manage the Human Organizational Performance (HOP) written program, site wide initiative, employee engagement, and update monthly OKR and KPI reports.
