Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician II Location/Division Specific Information Bryan Dairy / Electronics Division How will you make an impact? As an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician, you will support the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs that promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. You will assist in monitoring EHS activities, conducting inspections, supporting investigations, and helping ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of experience supporting Environmental Health & Safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of environmental, health, and safety principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to employees, management, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify problems, gather and analyze data, and develop practical solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based operating systems.
  • Ability to learn and utilize Jabil systems and software applications.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, procedures, visual aids, and technical information.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, ratios, and interpret charts and graphs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory compliance programs.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and environmental management systems.
  • Professional certifications such as OSHA 30, ASP, or related EHS credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administration and monitoring of Environmental Health & Safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with accident reporting, incident investigations, hazard assessments, and the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Compile and maintain safety metrics, reports, and records.
  • Conduct periodic EHS inspections, audits, and assessments to identify workplace hazards and compliance gaps.
  • Assist in evaluating environmental, health, and safety risks throughout the facility.
  • Recommend improvements and corrective actions to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support employee awareness and engagement initiatives related to workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records required by regulatory agencies and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement of EHS programs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
