Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician II Location/Division Specific Information Bryan Dairy / Electronics Division How will you make an impact? As an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician, you will support the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs that promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. You will assist in monitoring EHS activities, conducting inspections, supporting investigations, and helping ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1–3 years of experience supporting Environmental Health & Safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Strong understanding of environmental, health, and safety principles and regulatory requirements.
Ability to effectively communicate and present information to employees, management, customers, and external stakeholders.
Ability to identify problems, gather and analyze data, and develop practical solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based operating systems.
Ability to learn and utilize Jabil systems and software applications.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, procedures, visual aids, and technical information.
Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, ratios, and interpret charts and graphs.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
Experience supporting OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory compliance programs.
Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and environmental management systems.
Professional certifications such as OSHA 30, ASP, or related EHS credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day administration and monitoring of Environmental Health & Safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Assist with accident reporting, incident investigations, hazard assessments, and the implementation of corrective actions.
Compile and maintain safety metrics, reports, and records.
Conduct periodic EHS inspections, audits, and assessments to identify workplace hazards and compliance gaps.
Assist in evaluating environmental, health, and safety risks throughout the facility.
Recommend improvements and corrective actions to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Support employee awareness and engagement initiatives related to workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
Maintain accurate documentation and records required by regulatory agencies and company standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement of EHS programs.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
