About The Position

At Early Learning Academies (ELA), we are seeking passionate and qualified teachers to join the Excel Creative Early Learning community. Our teachers are educators who shape the future by fostering the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers through safe and enriching caregiving. This role prepares young children for continued growth, development, and eventual success in school and life.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year experience in childcare.
• CDA (Infant/Toddler) or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Able to pass background and hiring requirements.
• At least 18 years old with a HS diploma or GED.
• EDU 119 and 12+ hours of ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it).
• Experience teaching young children.
• A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth.
• Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educate young children and foster their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Provide safe and developmentally enriching caregiving.
• Prepare children for continued growth and eventual success in school and life.
• Utilize an emergent curriculum that empowers teachers to teach to the child and their interests.
