About The Position

HazTek is seeking an EHS Professional - Third Shift to support an active manufacturing/production facility in Princeton, NJ. This role will focus primarily on general industry and production floor safety while also supporting ongoing capital improvement projects on site. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work directly with employees and contractors, coach safe work practices, conduct audits and risk assessments, review permits, and help drive practical safety solutions in the field. Requirements

  • OSHA 30 required
  • 5+ years of safety experience in general industry, manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments
  • Strong communication skills with a coaching / problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written skills

Nice To Haves

  • General industry / production floor experience preferred
  • Construction knowledge is a plus for ongoing capital projects

Responsibilities

  • Support EHS activities within an active manufacturing / production environment
  • Conduct safety audits, observations, and risk assessments on the production floor
  • Review permits, support high-risk work, and help ensure safe work practices are followed
  • Assist with incident investigations, cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Support PSSRs, safety meetings, and ongoing safety initiatives
  • Partner with site personnel to identify issues, provide coaching, and help implement solutions
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, and audit findings
