About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring an EHS Specialist in Corona, CA. As an EHS Specialist, you will initiate and complete activities leading to new or improved controls. You will engage in safety projects by working with operations to define project parameters and desired results. You will present and provide EHS training, respirator fit testing, and IH results. You will also conduct various EHS inspections and audits, and provide advisement on task-oriented programs such as lockout/tagout, confined spaces, or fall protection. Additionally, you will create major EHS processes or systems (e.g., compliance, auditing, incident response), assemble and lead investigative teams to address serious EHS incidents and develop reaction/resolution plans, and lead EHS audit or self-assessment programs. This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity with a shift from 7 am to 3 pm PST and an expected duration of 6 months.

Requirements

BS or MS graduates having an accredited degree in engineering sciences or related fields.
Applicable EHS program management experience 3-5 years minimum.
