The EHS Specialist I will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and managing environmental, health, and safety programs. Familiarity with food safety systems like GMPs, HACCP, and SQF is also required, particularly within a food manufacturing context. The position involves working in various industrial environments, including manufacturing, warehouse, utility, and refrigeration machine rooms, and requires the ability to perform physical tasks and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. The role also includes an on-call component for emergency response.
