Corning Incorporated is seeking an EHS Project Integration Engineer to support our Sullivan Park research and development organization in Corning, NY. This role is based onsite and includes travel averaging 15–25%, depending on project phase and technology programs, with occasional higher travel periods. Relocation assistance is available for this position. This position supports Corning’s technology community by helping teams identify and address environmental, health, and safety considerations as new research, development, engineering, and early manufacturing scale-up activities take shape. Rather than focusing only on established operations, this role works closely with scientists, engineers, equipment owners, and facility teams to guide safe and environmentally responsible project development from early concept through implementation. It could be a strong fit for someone with a technical EHS background, or for an engineer or technical professional from a manufacturing, pilot, development, or R&D environment who has worked closely with process safety, risk assessment, equipment safety, chemical risk, or related EHS considerations as part of developing or scaling technology. The key to success in this role is being able to understand technical work, communicate practical requirements clearly, and help teams move innovation forward while managing risk.
