Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and/or Environmental or related field
Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in EHS role(s) involving leading and coaching employees
Ability to interact with all levels of management.
Excellent leadership abilities and knowledge of OSHA & EPA requirements
Knowledge and experience with Behavior-Based Safety techniques

Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety (EH&S) regulations.
Works with the Greensboro facility and corporate EH&S Team to develop and implement standardized programs to maintain full compliance with EH&S standards to meet/exceed metrics.
Measures plant performance against best-in-class manufacturing to create and implement plans with a focus on continuous improvement.
Develops and conducts EH&S program training.
Provides strategic direction and implements a safety management system for hazard prevention and control.
Recommends adjustments using the hierarchy of controls to protect workers from hazards that are common in the manufacturing work environment.
Manages Safety & Health programs, including developing and sharing best practices and lessons learned with other OMS locations.
Responsible for all EHS regulatory reporting and permit requirements.
