EHS Engineer is responsible for leading environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) programs and driving EH&S training initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and support continuous improvement throughout the facility. Evaluate proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public and environmental impact. Interaction with Federal, State and local regulatory to resolve compliance issues; establishes permit requirements and assists in EPA, OSHA, state and local regulatory audits. Leading the EH&S training coordination with the primary focus on required, regulated agency training and assist employees on best practices, precautions, and procedures established to maintain EH&S compliance and to improve staff competency and performance. The Engineer EH&S will report to the Director of Quality and will have no direct reports.
