About The Position

Nokia is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to support EHS operations across its California manufacturing sites in Sunnyvale and San Jose. In this role, you will report to the Site EHS Engineer and assist in a wide range of EHS-related activities, including data collection, safety inspections, and coordination with contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies. You will also serve as a key point of communication between the two sites, ensuring alignment and consistency in EHS practices. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment for employees working in semiconductor manufacturing, development labs, and office settings. This role requires a strong on-site presence (5 days per week) to support ongoing operations at facilities that run 24/7. Flexibility is essential, as occasional after-hours response may be required to address urgent EHS matters.
