This role is crucial for developing safe, scalable processes for novel manufacturing technologies like advanced welding, additive manufacturing, casting, and forging. The EHS Engineer will act as the primary EHS partner for special projects and process development teams, proactively identifying hazards in new processes before they reach production. Responsibilities include developing controls, writing procedures, and collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure safety is integrated from the outset. The ideal candidate is technically curious, hands-on, comfortable at the intersection of engineering and safety, energized by novel process challenges, skilled at assessing risk in ambiguous environments, and adept at translating complex hazard profiles into practical controls.
