About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EHS Coordinator to join our team. As an EHS Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing programs that promote safe working conditions and environmental sustainability. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to occupational health and safety, as well as environmental laws and regulations. You will work collaboratively with management, employees, and stakeholders to identify risks and hazards and develop strategies to minimize or eliminate them, while building impactful relationships. You will also develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety and environmental best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED, Bachelors preferred
  • Certification in environmental, health, and safety, such as OSHA, NASP, BCSP
  • 2-5 years of experience in EHS-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programs to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and evaluate workplace hazards, environmental risks, and potential safety violations.
  • Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on safety, health, and environmental issues.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Monitor and track compliance with regulations, and develop strategies to address non-compliance issues.
  • Participate with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders on environmental and safety matters.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and mitigate risks and hazards.
  • Must travel to branches
  • Other duties as assigned by managers
