Under general direction, supports departmental staff in the proper and efficient application of business process, fiscal, and/or information system analysis in order to improve the service delivery of programs; analyzes and reports on program requirements and performance; and performs related duties as required. The CalAIM program heavily relies on EHRs to coordinate whole-person care, manage complex populations, and meet new documentation and payment standards. EHRs must be configured to support ECM workflows, data exchange, and compliance with CalAIM’s enhanced care management and payment reform requirements. California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) is a statewide initiative by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to transform Medi-Cal delivery, focusing on whole-person care, prevention, and coordinated services for members with the highest needs. It builds on earlier programs like Whole Person Care, Health Home, and Coordinated Care Initiative, aiming to improve quality of life through a standardized, simplified system.
