About The Position
Lead on all projects related to North Florida Medical Centers’ Electronic Medical Records to include: Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchange (HIE), Health Information Technology (HIT), and Practice Management (PM). Guides the work of functional leaders and their teams relative to the EMR.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business engineering, sciences, business administration, healthcare administration, public health, or health informatics.
- Project Management certification or 2 years’ experience.
- Must become a certified professional in EHR within 18 months of hire.
- Experience with EHR, EDR, and other EMR systems a plus.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Optionally, add certification in HIE and HIT.
Responsibilities
- Lead on all projects related to North Florida Medical Centers’ Electronic Medical Records to include: Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchange (HIE), Health Information Technology (HIT), and Practice Management (PM).
- Guides the work of functional leaders and their teams relative to the EMR.
- Directly supervise the EHR Training Specialist I and II, and other EHR staff.
