EH&S Manager
About The Position
For over 200 years, Baerlocher has been a global leader in chemical additives, and safety is at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced EH&S Manager who's ready to own the safety culture at our facility and make a real impact. You'll be the go-to expert for all things environmental, health, and safety — keeping us compliant, our people protected, and our culture moving in the right direction. From managing permits and regulatory reporting to leading incident investigations and designing training programs, this role touches every corner of the operation. We're not just looking for someone to check compliance boxes. We want a change leader — someone who builds safety into the culture, mentors the team, and drives continuous improvement every day.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years in safety management, ideally in chemical manufacturing
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state regulations
- Comfortable leading root cause analyses
- Ability to interface with regulatory agencies
- Ability to coach and influence at every level
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Nice To Haves
- CIH, CSP, or CHP certification
