Requirements

Enrolled in an accredited Baccalaureate or Master's degree program (in a related field of study) with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Problem-solving skills, assertiveness and strong initiative
Team-oriented thinking with enthusiasm for continuous learning

Nice To Haves

Minimum completion of sophomore status in good standing preferred
Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles preferred

Responsibilities

Participate in site audits to identify hazards such as pinch-points, electrical hazards, fork lift traffic etc.
Help with implementation of 5S program throughout the plant including organizing labeling and floor marking activities
Assist in updating Risk Assessments
Participate in the submittal of monthly EHS metrics
Participate in audit walks, Workplace Observation program, and corrective action determinations.
Assist in the execution of the EHS Improvement Plan
Actively participate in / help facilitate weekly Safety Committee Meetings
Assist in the administration of the facilities compliance calendar
Participate in / Lead safety projects as assigned with the help of the EHS Manager
Other miscellaneous tasks at the discretion of site management
